Middle School Football

The 7th & 8th grade middle school football teams have been through a lot these past couple years. This year has been extraordinarily different.  You may sit and wonder to yourself, why? Well, I had the opportunity to have a chat with a few of the coaches and a couple of the players to react to all of our questions. Please, stay awhile, and read all about how and why this year was about to change dramatically.
Our astounding coaches, Tom Crawford and Ryan Bond, Have been there for these players through thick and thin. These coaches enjoy teaching young student athletes the extracurriculars they loved growing up. They wish to make football more enjoyable for all of the players. Mr. Crawford and Mr. Bond have agreed all students must have obtainable grades such as A’s, B’s and or C’s, and if they have not reached this goal they will come to a so called “study table” to do missing work, study for tests, basically just work to boost grades. These coaches make more and more progress every single days
As of our players, the 8th grade and 7th grade have combined due to a shortage of our 8th grade players. A lot of the students have came to a conclusion that the coaches try to push the team to the best of their abilities. Their offense and defense could use a little bit of work but if they work themselves just enough they can become better as a whole. They enjoy after school practice, and they should know to the fact of them having it five days a week. These players work extremely hard and try to achieve their goals through the season and even out of it.
