Have you guys heard about Academic Challenge? I bet you are thinking, why would anyone want to do more schoolwork, after school? Well, Academic Challenge is so much fun. We don't do worksheets like you're probably thinking of. We watch the news, we play fun games, read books, and other cool things.
We bring food and eat it while watching the news. Lots of laughter and hard work is put into this extracurricular activity. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, we gather in either Mr von Kamp's or Mr. Napier's room. It's a lot of fun but it's serious too. You have to be able to learn new things very quickly. We will have competitions, and other things. It is a lot of fun, but you have to be willing to put in the hard work and effort.
Right now we are in the process of reading "How They Choked". It is about famous people in History that failed. The point that the book it making is that everyone fails, even the most successful people. You should check out "How They Choked". You'll probably really like it.
