Mathathon by Kennedy Collins

On Friday, March 9th, Mr. Gladden’s algebra students participated in a “Mathathon” to help younger students with their math problems. Each elementary student participating had a small booklet, each page with a different type of problem. Some were puzzles, others a little more simple. The students that went got to snack on Goldfish crackers after helping out. All in all, I think most of us had a fun time. It’s always nice to lend a helping hand whenever possible. It was certainly a good way to demonstrate some Flashes P.R.I.D.E., and set an example for the younger kids.
